Dorothy Mae Williams, 83, of Glenwood, Iowa passed peacefully at home surrounded by her family. Born in Mills County, she was a beloved wife, mother of four, and devoted member of her church community for over 60 years.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, her four children, 11 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. A celebration of her life was held at Loess Hills Funeral & Cremation Center, Glenwood.
James Arthur Henderson, 77, of Carson, Iowa, passed from this life after a brief illness. James served honorably in the United States Army and was a Vietnam War veteran who received the Bronze Star for his service.
He is remembered as a man of deep faith, extraordinary integrity, and unshakable dedication to his family and community. Full military honors were coordinated by Loess Hills Funeral & Cremation Center.
Ruth Elaine Carroll, 70, of Malvern, Iowa was called home on December 1, 2025. A lifelong resident of Mills County, Ruth was known for her warmth, her legendary cooking, and the way she made every person feel welcome in her home.
She is survived by three children, eight grandchildren, and a community that loved her deeply. A full memorial service was held at her church, with interment at a local cemetery.
